Participants enjoy field trips to
the Carolina Panther Football
games, movies and museums.
The objectives of the program are to change the mindsets and
attitudes of boys ages 9 to 19 on the challenges their environment
and society present to them (such as teen pregnancy, gangs, drugs,
alcohol, crime and peer pressure), and to provide them with skills,
resources, and concrete experiences that will help them become
successful, productive, law-abiding citizens.
Curriculum
·
Decision Making: Analyzing choices and consequences
through movies, role plays and in every day life.

Substance Abuse: Receiving information on the
consequences of substance abuse on families and communities
as well as the learning about resources in their communities.
·
Teen Pregnancy and HIV Prevention: Understanding the
responsibility of the man in a relationship and forming healthy
relationships.
·
Crime & Gang Prevention: Understanding the impact on you,
your family and community.
·
Community Service Projects: Making a difference in
communities through outreaches such as block parties, back to
school rallies and other community strengthening activities.
·
Entrepreneurship: Receiving skills to start their own business
and becoming responsible young men in their communities.
